About the Role
Net Zero Careers Accelerator (NZCA) connects jobseekers with fully funded training and employment opportunities supporting the UK's transition to a greener economy. We are partnering with a training provider to build a bank of freelance Associate Electrical Trainers to deliver renewable energy courses regularly. This role is ideal for an experienced electrical professional with a strong technical background who enjoys sharing knowledge and supporting others to develop skills within the renewable energy sector. Trainers will deliver courses weekly, subject to demand, and work closely with the training provider to ensure effective course delivery. Travel and accommodation expenses are not paid separately. This is a freelance opportunity offering flexible work and the chance to join an established bank of trainers receiving ongoing course delivery opportunities.

Experience
Minimum 5 years' relevant electrical industry experience. Strong practical electrical knowledge. Experience or knowledge relevant to renewable energy technologies.

About you
Confident communication and presentation skills. Ability to explain technical information clearly to learners with varying experience levels. Professional and reliable approach. Ability to work independently as a freelance trainer. Availability to deliver training regularly in Manchester.

Qualifications
Previous experience delivering electrical, renewable energy or technical training is desirable. Teaching, training or mentoring experience is advantageous. Relevant electrical qualifications are preferred. Experience with renewable technologies such as solar PV, heat pumps or associated electrical systems is beneficial.
