As a Business Energy Advisor within Business Energy Scotland, you will work closely with small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across Scotland to identify energy-saving opportunities that deliver carbon and cost savings. You will provide support to help SMEs overcome barriers to installing low carbon technologies such as heat pumps and enabling measures like building fabric insulation. Your advice will also cover a wider range of technologies to help businesses reduce energy consumption and costs.
Your work will involve one-to-one conversations, in-person events, online webinars, and desktop reviews of technical specifications. You will play a central role in delivering high-quality advice and support that enables SMEs to implement energy efficiency, low carbon heat, and renewable projects, helping them become more competitive and progress towards Net Zero.

Experience
Demonstrable experience of energy efficiency, low-carbon heating, and renewable technologies in buildings.
Proven experience delivering a high standard of customer service.
Ability to explain complex information in a clear and accessible manner.
Effective oral and written communication skills with internal and external customers.
