This is a rare opportunity to lead a respected, mission-led organisation at a pivotal moment in its development. Reporting to the Chair and Board, the Chief Executive Officer will provide strategic and operational leadership across Farm Carbon Toolkit, unifying our Advisory and Calculator business lines and ensuring every decision aligns with both mission and commercial realities.
FCT has strong foundations including a distinctive reputation, deep technical expertise, long-term partnerships, and a motivated team committed to the organisation's purpose. The CEO’s role is to sharpen strategic focus, strengthen financial resilience, and provide consistent, visible leadership that empowers our people to excel.
This role does not require deep subject-matter expertise across every FCT discipline but demands sound judgement to understand the marketplace, a genuine affinity for FCT's mission, and the confidence to lead through others by leveraging the expertise of the team.

Experience
Proven leadership experience in a strategic and operational role, ideally within mission-driven or environmental organisations. Ability to build financial resilience and sharpen strategic focus in a growing organisation.
