About the Role
Cambridge Zero has an exciting opportunity within our Communications and Engagement Team to support the delivery of our communication and engagement strategy. This role promotes the University of Cambridge's work to solve the climate crisis across all programmes of activity, including public engagement, internal and external communications, public affairs, research communications, philanthropic and alumni engagement, student engagement, and media relations. You will help develop content and activities, support the Head of Communications, and assist the team in their communications and engagement efforts. Cambridge Zero maximises the University’s contribution towards a resilient and sustainable world by enabling, integrating, and accelerating climate-related education, research, and innovation. We work collaboratively across the University, Colleges, and related institutions to connect, convene, and engage the full academic community in climate action.

- Using design tools such as Canva, Adobe Acrobat, or similar
- Communicating complex concepts and academic ideas to broad, non-expert audiences

Strong communicator with the ability to write engaging content and convey complex information clearly. Enthusiastic about climate action and able to work collaboratively within a team. Flexible and motivated to support a wide range of communications activities across diverse audiences.
