Mole Valley District, based in Leatherhead and Dorking, with work throughout the Mole Valley area.
Hours
70 hours split over 2 weeks (one week 40 hours, second week 30 hours). Flexibility required including weekends and bank holidays.

£28,036 per annum
About the Role
Mole Valley Life supports people who may require assistance in their everyday lives to remain independent and connected to their communities. We are recruiting Community Transport Drivers to provide door-to-door bus services for Mole Valley’s older and vulnerable residents and members of the public. You will be driving our Community Transport service and new compact electric minibuses for the Surrey Connect Demand Response Transport service. Minibus training and a free uniform will be provided. The role requires physical fitness and a caring, enthusiastic personality to assist members who may need support. The Council offers excellent conditions of service and a friendly working environment.

Experience
Knowledge of the local area and an interest in driving is essential. Experience driving minibuses or in community transport is advantageous but not mandatory as training is provided.
About You
You will have a caring, considerate, and courteous manner with physical fitness to assist passengers. Flexibility around working patterns including willingness to work weekends and bank holidays is required.
Qualifications
- D1 category driving licence (minimum requirement)
- First Aid at Work trained or capable of passing the First Aid at Work qualification
