About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to help regenerate and develop our community-owned woodland in south Skye. As Community Woodland Manager, you will lead the project to develop the expanded woodland as a valued community asset. Your varied responsibilities will include overseeing harvesting operations, leading and motivating volunteers, managing nature restoration activities, and pursuing development projects in line with the Woodland Management Plan. You will work closely with the Broadford and Strath Community Company (BSCC), an award-winning community development charity dedicated to creating a strong, self-sufficient, inclusive, and eco-friendly community. This role is initially offered on a 3-year contract with potential to extend subject to funding.
Experience
Relevant qualifications and demonstrable experience in forest or land management. Proven ability to recruit, lead, and motivate volunteers. Experience overseeing woodland harvesting and nature restoration activities is highly desirable.

Qualifications
Relevant forestry, land management, or environmental qualifications are required to effectively manage woodland operations and community projects.
