Salary
£47,391.00 - £49,630.00 per annum including London Weighting Allowance. In exceptional circumstances, a specialist market supplement of up to £5,000 may be available subject to industrial and teaching experience.
About the Role
The Curriculum Manager for Engineering, Construction and the Built Environment (ECBE) will lead the operational management, development and performance of teaching, learning and assessment across all relevant provision. This role involves implementing the College Group's quality improvement strategies aligned with the current OFSTED framework and maintaining a culture of continuous improvement through self-assessment and other quality initiatives. The Curriculum Manager will develop strategies to enhance Teaching, Learning and Assessment to ensure an outstanding student experience and will be responsible for the performance management of teaching staff to achieve consistently high outcomes. The role includes leading employer engagement and internal quality assurance activities within the curriculum areas. The position is based at the Paddington Green campus and focuses on trade qualifications in Building Services Engineering and Transport Maintenance, including Electrical Installations, Plumbing, Green Skills, and Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair. Experience
- Operational leadership and management experience in a Further Education setting
- Experience supporting staff development in vocational areas and learning and teaching
- Experience in recruitment, induction and guidance of students
- Experience contributing to curriculum planning, design and development
- Experience leading and managing staff and managing budgets effectively
- Experience leading or coordinating quality enhancements in curriculum delivery
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills with internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications
- Teaching qualification or equivalent
- Level 3 or higher qualification in an engineering or construction related discipline
- Assessor and internal verification qualifications or equivalent experience in vocational assessing and internal verification
