About the Role
Our client is a leading force in Surface Water Management (SWM), contributing to integrated drainage solutions across the UK and internationally. Joining a diverse, multi-disciplinary team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of drainage as part of green-blue infrastructure and masterplanning. The role involves developing concepts and designs for drainage and Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) for a variety of clients, managing projects and designs to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery, and coordinating with multidisciplinary and site teams. You will also maintain awareness of legislative changes, identify business development opportunities, prepare financial and technical proposals, and act as a client and stakeholder interface. This position offers the opportunity to work on major projects with water companies, local authorities, highways, rail authorities, and developers, with a strong emphasis on sustainability, innovation, and technical excellence.

Experience
- Minimum of 3 years post-graduation experience in drainage design including Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS)
- Proven track record of delivering technically excellent projects on time and within budget
- Competence in AutoCAD and hydraulic modelling, preferably Microdrainage
- Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams on complex projects
- Competence in Civil3D
- Proven ability to develop client relationships and sound commercial understanding
