About the Role
Are you passionate about sustainability, education, and creating meaningful experiences for young people? Are you looking for a change from regular teaching in a new and exciting environment? This is the perfect role for you! As Education Programme Manager, you will bring EcoPark House to life as a dynamic hub for learning about sustainability and the circular economy. You will lead the delivery of an engaging programme for primary and secondary students, manage the full school visit process, and ensure every visit on site is safe, impactful, and inspiring. Your responsibilities include delivering tours, shaping new educational resources, and collaborating with the wider education team to evolve the programme. You will ensure best practice is always adhered to, including Working Together to Safeguard Children. Additionally, you will play a key role in safeguarding, working alongside the Education Strategy Manager as a Safeguarding Lead. Building strong relationships with schools, partners, and stakeholders will be essential to drive a high-quality, forward-thinking educational offer.

Requirements

Experience
Proven experience as an educator with the ability to connect effectively with young people and adults including classroom teachers, headteachers, and governors. Experience in developing curriculum-aligned content and managing complex projects with multiple priorities.

About You
You understand how schools operate and what good learning looks like. You are confident in communicating clearly, presenting well, and building strong relationships. You are organised, proactive, and comfortable taking the lead in overseeing team members, designing resources, and guiding school groups through busy sites. Safeguarding is second nature to you, and you apply it confidently in practice. Above all, you bring energy, professionalism, and a genuine passion for helping young people explore sustainability in meaningful and engaging ways.

Qualifications
Relevant educational qualifications and experience in education or sustainability-related fields are desirable. A strong understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures is essential.
