As an EHS Advisor, you will manage and coordinate all aspects of the location's environmental, health, and safety goals and objectives with minimum supervision. This role provides expertise in the development, implementation, and management of effective Safety, Health, and Environment procedures and systems. You will routinely analyse hazardous situations, identify alternative courses of action, and oversee activities to ensure alignment with regulations, policies, and procedures.

Key responsibilities include leading and guiding all EHS initiatives at the location, maintaining and developing the site EHS plan, completing compliance assessments, problem-solving EHS compliance issues, coordinating and providing EHS training, ensuring ongoing employee education, providing technical and operational recommendations to minimize risks, managing energy consumption and efficiency opportunities, supporting the Facilities team with safe practices, and managing health surveillance for the site.

Requirements

Experience
Minimum 2 to 4 years of experience in a similar EHS role within a relevant environment. Proven experience working in a standalone role. Confident in managing stakeholders at all levels.

About you
Passionate and proactive in driving EHS initiatives and continuous improvement. A self-starter who is able to self-prioritise. Good understanding of lean methodologies is desired.

Qualifications
EHS qualifications are required. A relevant university degree would be an advantage. Due to the nature of the role, UK security clearance will be required. Candidates must be British Nationals and Citizens, have been resident in the UK for the last 5 years, and be capable of gaining 'SC' level security clearance.
