As an Energy Manager, you will partner with customers using the OpenBlue platform to deliver measurable value. You will drive successful outcomes and act as a key consultant throughout the entire customer lifecycle. Your responsibilities include end-to-end delivery of customer value for OpenBlue solutions, from onboarding and training to adoption, advocacy, retention, and growth. You will engage with customers to understand their business challenges, train end users, monitor product usage, provide support, and serve as the voice of the customer internally to enhance product and service offerings. The role may require up to 10% travel.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years recent experience in HVAC systems, building automation systems, energy management solutions, facility management, or building maintenance services
- Hands-on experience with installation, deployment, or use of Operational Technologies (OT) in medium to large facilities
- Proven track record delivering user training, product demonstrations, and addressing operational questions
- Strong customer relationship management skills with enterprise customers
- Demonstrated ability to lead within a matrix organization and drive process improvements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills across operational and senior levels
- Highly organized project management skills to manage multiple customers simultaneously
- Candidates must have valid work authorization to work for Johnson Controls in the United Kingdom

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field required
- Preferred certifications include Certified Energy Manager® (CEM) and Certified Measurement & Verification Professional (CMVP)
- Experience with smart building software and/or energy management systems is advantageous
