As an Energy & Sustainability Manager, you will be responsible for partnering with customers to deliver value through OpenBlue, our AI-enabled smart building software suite. You will drive successful outcomes and act as a key consultant throughout the entire customer lifecycle. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, start-up-like environment within a large company and is eager to grow alongside the business.
Your responsibilities will include end-to-end delivery of customer value for OpenBlue solutions, participating in customer onboarding and deployment milestones, training end users, monitoring product adoption, providing advocacy and support, and driving retention and growth by identifying new opportunities and ensuring customer success. You will serve as the voice of the customer, collaborating closely with product management and commercial teams to enhance customer experience and business outcomes.
Experience
- Minimum 5+ years recent experience in HVAC systems, building automation systems, energy management solutions, facility management, or building maintenance services
- Hands-on experience with installation, deployment, or use of Operational Technologies (OT) in medium to large facilities
- Proven track record in customer relationship management with enterprise customers in roles such as Customer Success Manager, Account Manager, Project Manager, Performance Assurance Engineer, or Technical Sales
- Experience delivering user training, product demonstrations, and addressing operational questions
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple customers and maintain detailed notes and action plans
- Demonstrated ability to lead within a matrix organization and coordinate resources effectively
- Experience driving process improvements to enhance customer satisfaction

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field required
- Preferred certifications include Certified Energy Manager® (CEM) and Certified Measurement & Verification Professional (CMVP)
- Experience with smart building software and/or energy management systems is advantageous
