Location
Central London, with possible travel between sites including MINI Plant, Oxford and Summit ONE, Farnborough.

Hours
Full Time - 37 hours per week, including a half day on Fridays to support work-life balance.

Salary
Competitive annual salary of £23,650 (pro rata to contract length).

About the Role
Join BMW Group for a 13-month internship starting July 2026, where you will gain hands-on experience working with both the Environment and Security teams. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to installing digital systems that enhance resilience and data handling. You will develop your understanding of environmental legislation within a manufacturing context, monitor key environmental performance indicators, and support compliance reporting through data gathering and report production. Additionally, you will help develop communication initiatives to raise environmental awareness among employees. On the security side, you will gain insight into security topics, analyze security data, identify risks, and assist in deploying countermeasures to reduce business impact. This placement is designed to treat you as a valued team member from day one, encouraging you to bring ideas and demonstrate your capabilities in a dynamic, supportive environment.

Experience
Work experience in administration, building, business, construction, or engineering is advantageous but not essential. Excellent data handling skills and a structured approach to information management are important.

About you
You are a confident decision maker and presenter with strong teamwork skills and the ability to lead and motivate others. You have effective time management and project management skills, a practical and flexible approach to work, and the ability to prioritise workload. IT proficiency, particularly with Microsoft Office Suite, is preferred. A full driving licence may be required for travel between sites.

Qualifications
Currently studying towards a relevant environmental or business-related degree, on track to achieve a 2:1 or above. You must be returning to studies for at least six months after the placement and have the legal right to work in the UK.
