- Assist in developing new counterparties and expanding the trading desk’s commercial network
- Gradually assume responsibility for managing trading positions and generating P&L within defined risk limits
- Explore opportunities in adjacent environmental markets, including voluntary carbon credits
- Coordinate with operations and back-office teams to ensure accurate trade booking, settlement, and certificate transfers
- Ensure trading activities comply with internal risk policies and relevant market regulations
Experience

- Understanding of European and UK renewable energy regulations and compliance frameworks
- Familiarity with certificate registries, trading platforms, and OTC transaction processes

- Strong Excel skills and ability to work with market data; experience with Python, VBA, SQL, or other analytical tools is desirable
- Fluency in English and German; additional language skills are highly desirable
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Proactive, entrepreneurial attitude with a willingness to develop commercial relationships
