We are creating a new role to shape the future of environmental compliance and energy performance across our UK & Ireland business. This exciting opportunity is for an experienced Environmental professional to develop and drive a strategic environmental agenda across multiple manufacturing and service locations, ensuring compliance excellence while supporting Sulzer's sustainability ambitions.

Key responsibilities include managing and continuously improving Sulzer's ISO 14001 Environmental Management System across UK & Ireland sites; ensuring compliance with environmental legislation, permits and regulatory requirements; shaping and delivering environmental and energy initiatives; conducting audits, assessments and compliance reviews; monitoring environmental and energy performance to identify improvement opportunities; supporting carbon reduction, waste minimisation and resource-efficiency projects; investigating environmental incidents and driving corrective actions; partnering with site teams, operational leaders and external bodies to embed best practice; and keeping the business informed of emerging environmental legislation and compliance requirements.

Experience
Proven experience in environmental compliance within manufacturing, engineering or industrial environments. Strong knowledge of UK environmental legislation and management systems. Experience managing or supporting ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems.
