About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Fate Metabolism Study Manager to join our Analytical Methods & Metabolism (AMM) team. In this role, you will apply your scientific expertise to elucidate the metabolic fate of active ingredients in the environment, supporting the registration of sustainable crop protection products. You will collaborate closely with study managers, technical experts, and Contract Research Organisations (CROs) to solve analytical challenges and deliver critical data. Key responsibilities include ensuring timely delivery of business-critical data from CROs, designing protocols, evaluating data, reviewing and authorising company reports, and providing expert conclusions to metabolism teams. You will also provide technical assistance to external suppliers, develop expert knowledge of fate metabolism and relevant global regulatory guidance, and contribute scientific expertise across teams. Jealott's Hill International Research Centre is located in pleasant semi-rural surroundings between Bracknell and Maidenhead and hosts approximately 800 Syngenta scientists and support staff. Experience
Degree or equivalent in biology, chemistry, or a related discipline. Proven experience conducting or managing environmental fate metabolism studies to meet GLP standards. Familiarity with relevant Regulatory Test Guidelines. Experience generating key insights from complex data sets. Active scientific collaboration with colleagues in industry, contract research, or regulatory agencies. Experience working with third-party organisations is advantageous.
