As an Environmental Graduate, you will join a dedicated, driven, and supportive team, gaining exposure to all aspects of Environmental management within a busy food manufacturing environment. You will participate in continuous improvement projects and receive 1-to-1 coaching, dedicated mentors, bespoke management development, and on-the-job training. The role offers fast track career progression with potential rotations across different business areas, broadening your experience and skills.
Key responsibilities include maintaining full compliance with the site Environmental Agency licence, controlling the onsite Effluent Treatment Plant, leading the site energy/environmental team to achieve sustainability targets, maintaining and improving ISO 50001 and ISO 14001 management systems, conducting audits and monitoring checks, coordinating waste management, liaising with the Group Environmental team on sustainability projects, managing environmental training, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across departments.
Experience
Previous experience is not essential; however, a strong understanding of operating integrity, quality processes, and systems with high standards for compliance is desirable. Experience in a fast-paced environment or continuous improvement mindset is advantageous.
