Environmental, Health & Safety, Compliance and Assurance Manager

Location
Hybrid working with regular visits to sites nationwide and offices including Bedford HQ and Barden Leicester Distribution Centre.
Hours
Full time, standard business hours with flexibility as required.
Salary
Up to £50,000 per year plus annual company performance related bonus up to 20%, private medical, 33 days annual leave inclusive of bank holidays, and employer pension contribution up to 10%.
About the Role
At Autoglass®, we are seeking an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Compliance and Assurance Manager to lead and coordinate compliance and assurance activities across a diverse, multi-site operation. Reporting to the Head of EHS & Responsible Business, you will play a key role in ensuring compliance with UK legislation, ISO standards, and Belron Group requirements. This role requires a data-driven, digitally focused approach to health, safety, and environmental management, using technology and insight to drive continuous improvement across the business.
Your responsibilities will include leading EHS compliance, assurance, and audit programmes across the UK; conducting audits, inspections, and compliance reviews; managing legal compliance registers; monitoring emerging legislation and regulatory changes; supporting and improving ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems; acting as the subject matter expert for EHS reporting systems and performance data; using data analytics to identify trends and risks; supporting external assurance activities such as ISO certifications, EcoVadis, ESOS, and customer audits; partnering with operational leaders to strengthen risk management and safe working practices; and delivering meaningful reporting and insights to support leadership decision-making and organisational learning.

Experience
Proven experience in EHS compliance, assurance, auditing, or management systems within a multi-site operational environment is advantageous.
Strong knowledge of UK health, safety, and environmental legislation.
Experience supporting ISO 45001 and/or ISO 14001 frameworks.
Confident influencing stakeholders and translating complex requirements into practical solutions.

Qualifications
NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification.
