About the Role
Caddick Construction, a family-owned business known for quality, integrity, and innovation, is seeking an Environmental Manager to support the Environment and Sustainability Manager and construction site teams. You will assist with the effective implementation of the environmental management system, including environmental planning, reviewing records, and providing guidance on physical site environmental controls. Key responsibilities include assessing and reporting on site environmental compliance and sustainability initiatives via a digitised reporting system, ensuring accuracy of waste reporting records internally and across the supply chain, reviewing the suitability and effectiveness of environmental control measures, supporting site-level environmental plans and aspects and impacts registers, assisting with environmental incident investigations, and providing guidance on environmental legislation and requirements to site teams. Experience
- Experience of environmental controls and management systems within the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of UK environmental legislation
- Experience working with an ISO 14001 certified management system
- Full UK driving licence (car allowance or company car available)
- CSCS card (desirable)
- Relevant degree or environmental qualification
