About the Role
As Environmental Manager, you will support the Framework Head of HS&E on all environmental aspects, implementing the HS&E strategy and systems to ensure our operations meet exemplary environmental standards. You will drive improvement and consistency in performance, ensuring compliance with management systems and leading continual improvement initiatives. You will foster an inclusive and collaborative culture that promotes HS&E behaviours and excellence, supporting behavioural culture programmes aligned with business values. Representing the HSE function in internal and external forums, you will share best practices and initiatives. Your responsibilities include implementing and managing environmental systems in line with client and business requirements, providing environmental guidance throughout project lifecycles, and conducting environmental inspections and audits including ISO 14001. You will deliver training, investigate incidents, and use KPIs to drive performance and continual improvement. Additionally, you will contribute to unlocking gains in environmental performance and mitigating risks related to environmental issues. Investigating incidents and non-conformities, producing reports, and leading opportunities for improvement will also be key aspects of your role.

Experience
Proven experience in environmental management within infrastructure, water, or regulated sectors. Skilled in project lifecycle delivery, training programmes, and data analytics/reporting systems.

Excellent communicator able to engage across all levels and disciplines internally and externally. Thrives in complex, dynamic environments and builds strong collaborative relationships. Skilled in problem-solving, risk analysis, and implementing structured, effective solutions.
Qualifications
Competent use of IT including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PowerApps, PowerBi, Forms, and database systems such as ActivSHEQ and Sphera Cloud. Relevant professional qualifications and membership are desirable.
