About the Role
Pembrokeshire County Council’s Environmental Services Division is recognised as one of the top-performing Local Authorities for recycling in Wales since 2019. We are an innovative, forward-thinking team committed to delivering high-quality waste and recycling services that make a tangible difference to our communities. We are seeking a motivated and organised Environmental Services Project Manager on a fixed term contract until 31/03/2027 to lead critical service change projects. Key projects include fleet replacement scheduled for 2026 and the mandatory kerbside collection of plastic film in 2027, ensuring compliance with legislation and Council objectives. You will develop business cases, funding applications, and strategic recommendations to improve service efficiency and effectiveness. Experience
Proven experience in managing environmental or waste-related projects, preferably within local government or public sector settings. Experience in delivering service change projects and working with legislative compliance is essential.

Qualifications
Relevant qualifications in environmental management, project management, or related disciplines are desirable but not mandatory. A positive attitude and commitment to continuous professional development are essential.
