About the Role
Cambridge Zero has an exciting opportunity within our Communications and Engagement Team to manage and deliver a diverse portfolio of over 20 event types, including roundtables, symposia, public engagement days, and student-facing activities. The role focuses on promoting the University of Cambridge's work to address the climate crisis. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of all events, from conception through to execution and evaluation. This includes ensuring effective event-related processes and practices, developing and improving internal systems and procedures, and driving continuous improvements and efficiencies across the event portfolio. You will also have the opportunity to propose new events and engagement activities. Cambridge Zero exists to maximise the University’s contribution towards a resilient and sustainable world by enabling, integrating, and accelerating climate-related education, research, and innovation. Working collaboratively across the University, Colleges, and related institutions, Cambridge Zero connects and engages the wider University community to enhance and accelerate climate activities.

Experience
- Proven experience managing, planning, and delivering events
- Experience utilising social media to support event promotion
