About the Role
Statom Group is seeking an Experienced Groundworks and Remediation Engineer with at least 5 years of experience in this field. As a Senior/Project Engineer, you will act as a crucial link between on-site works, design and technical teams, and the wider project group. Your role involves providing technical guidance to the workforce and Site Engineers to ensure project success through consistent leadership and technical oversight. You will keep the Project Manager informed of day-to-day technical challenges on-site and play a vital role in maintaining Statom’s reputation for delivering quality, safety, and technical excellence. This position requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in the construction industry, specifically in groundworks and remediation, with a focus on site engineering or project management. Proven ability to perform cut and fill operations using LSS or similar systems.

About you
Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead, mentor, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reporting, training, and stakeholder engagement. Willingness to travel as required. Must have existing UK right to work.

Qualifications
A degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline is required. Health and safety certifications such as First Aid, NEBOSH, OSHA, and Temporary Works training (e.g., TWC/TWS) are advantageous. Proficiency with CAD, surveying equipment, project management software, and other engineering tools is essential.
