About the Role
Actemium E-Mobility, part of VINCI Energies, is expanding and seeking a skilled Electrical Field Service Engineer to join the South region team. In this practical, customer-facing role, you will be responsible for the installation, servicing, and maintenance of EV charging infrastructure across commercial and public sites. Your work ensures EV charge points remain safe, compliant, and fully operational, supporting the UK’s growing EV charging network.
Key responsibilities include commissioning, servicing, and repairing AC and DC EV charge points, diagnosing electrical and technical faults, completing accurate digital service reports, conducting inspections, preventative maintenance and compliance tests, following wiring regulations and safety procedures, building strong customer relationships on-site, and supporting emergency callouts when required (with additional pay).
Experience
Proven electrical maintenance and testing experience is essential. Experience with EV chargers is beneficial but not mandatory as full training will be provided.
About you
You will have professional communication and customer service skills, high levels of accountability and initiative, and the ability to work independently without direct supervision. Self-motivation and a full UK driving licence are required.
Qualifications
Possession of an ECS Gold Card is required. EV charger manufacturer certification training will be provided as part of the role.
