As a tutor, you will deliver engaging science and geography field trips alongside a wide range of outdoor education experiences for Early Years, school groups, colleges, universities, families, and adult learners. Your role will include planning sessions, adapting activities to suit different learners, and ensuring all activities are safe and inclusive. You will contribute to the development of new activities and work closely with a supportive education team to improve and grow the programme. When not delivering in the field, you will support the wider running of a busy education centre. This is an active role that can be busy and demanding at times but is highly rewarding work. You will play a key part in the Field Studies Council’s mission to create outstanding opportunities that inspire everyone to engage with and care for the environment.

You share the Field Studies Council’s values: to learn and grow, inspire action for the environment, work as a team, and deliver great service. You are enthusiastic about outdoor education and able to adapt activities to suit different learners.
