About the Role
Cheapside CE Primary School is a warm, single-form Church of England primary school with two acres of grounds including woodland, a pond and gardens. We are seeking a passionate Forest School Lead to bring our outdoor classroom to life and embed outdoor learning into the curriculum from Reception to Year 6. You will plan, deliver and assess high-quality Forest School sessions tailored to pupils’ ages, needs and curriculum requirements. You will develop the forest, pond and garden areas as safe, purposeful and inspiring spaces and work closely with teachers to integrate outdoor learning into curriculum planning, modelling best practice and building staff confidence. You will also carry out risk assessments and maintain high standards of health, safety and safeguarding outdoors, as well as manage the tools, equipment and resources needed for outdoor learning.

Experience
- Experience of working with children in an educational or outdoor setting is essential.
- Experience across Reception to Year 6 is desirable.
- Experience of supporting pupils with SEND is desirable.
- Experience of training or developing colleagues is desirable.

Qualifications
- Level 3 Forest School Leader qualification, or willingness to work towards it with support.
- A current first aid qualification (Outdoor First Aid) or willingness to obtain it.
