Full Time - 35 hours per week on a 5-day working week. We operate a 9-day fortnight scheme with every other Friday off. Some evening and weekend work required, with time off in lieu (TOIL) available.
Salary
£38,035 - £42,203 depending on location and experience.
About the Role
Action for Conservation exists to empower the next generation of environmental leaders by placing young people at the heart of action for nature and the climate. As Fundraising Manager - Trusts & Foundations, you will lead our income generation from trusts, foundations, and statutory sources, ensuring sustainable growth and enabling us to bring the magic of nature into young people’s lives.
You will play a crucial role in shaping and implementing our fundraising strategy, working closely with the Fundraising Manager - Philanthropy and Partnerships and the Chief Executive Officer. Your responsibilities will include managing the trusts and foundations revenue stream, driving grant applications and reports, and producing compelling fundraising content that maximises donor engagement.
You will distill complex information about our projects and impact data into persuasive narratives tailored to donor interests and criteria. Managing the trusts and foundations pipeline, you will research new prospects, identify appropriate approaches, coordinate grant administration, monitoring, and reporting. Building and nurturing funder relationships will be key to attracting and retaining support year after year.
This role requires a driven and passionate individual with a proven track record of securing one-off and/or multi-year five- to six-figure grants, comfortable managing multiple prospects, deadlines, and priorities. You will be a skilled and persuasive written communicator with excellent organisation, time-management skills, and a positive, flexible, and proactive approach.
Key responsibilities include contributing to fundraising strategy development, growing and diversifying income from trusts, foundations, and statutory sources, managing grant administration and compliance, and maintaining strong funder relationships.

Experience
Proven track record of securing one-off and/or multi-year five- to six-figure grants from trusts, foundations, and statutory sources. Experience managing multiple prospects, deadlines, and priorities effectively.
