
Location
Leatherhead, Surrey - Historic 400 acre private estate with a beautiful 25 acre garden including herbaceous and mixed borders, Mediterranean garden, prairie border, Italian garden, kitchen garden, lawns, wildflower meadows and woodland areas.
Hours
40 hours per week, 7am - 3.30pm with some seasonal variation
Salary
£28,000 per annum, plus tronc

An exciting opportunity for a driven and dynamic Gardener with garden maintenance experience to develop their skills on a prestigious private estate. The role involves maintaining a diverse and historic garden with a wide variety of ornamental species. You will carry out general garden maintenance tasks including mowing, weeding, strimming and hedge cutting. Experience
Experience in garden maintenance including mowing, weeding, strimming and hedge cutting is essential. Ideally experience working in a private estate garden or holding a horticultural qualification (NVQ or similar) or both.

Hands-on with good practical skills and reasonable plant knowledge. Positive attitude with good communication skills and ability to work well with other staff members. Enthusiastic and committed to professional development.
Qualifications
Horticultural qualification (NVQ or similar) is desirable but not essential if you have relevant experience. A full driving licence and own transport are preferred.
