About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Gardener to join our team at Heron Manor Care Home. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our beautiful gardens, creating a serene and therapeutic environment for our residents. Your tasks will include planting, pruning, weeding, and ensuring all outdoor areas are clean, safe, and welcoming. Alongside maintaining our gardens, you will lead the gardening club for our residents, helping to foster a sense of community and wellbeing through nature. If you have a green thumb and a genuine passion for making a difference through nature, we would love to hear from you.

Experience
Previous gardening or grounds maintenance experience is desirable but not essential. Enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are highly valued.

About you
You should be passionate about gardening and enjoy working outdoors. You will be reliable, motivated, and able to work independently as well as part of a team. A caring attitude towards residents and an interest in supporting community activities such as the gardening club are important.

Qualifications
No formal qualifications are required for this role, although relevant horticultural qualifications would be an advantage.
