About the Role
As a Gardener at UK Mission Enterprise, you will be responsible for maintaining the grounds to a high standard across a variety of areas. Key duties include mowing lawns to required standards, maintaining shrubs and herbaceous borders, managing turf care such as dew removal, debris clearance, reseeding, and watering during summer months. You will prepare and maintain seasonal bedding and pot plants, control weeds, and maintain gravel paths by levelling, raking, and repairing as necessary. Additional responsibilities include litter management, trimming hedges and tree bases, precise edging, thinning and harvesting fruit, caring for trees, walls, and vines, and controlling pond weed to preserve water features such as ponds and waterfalls. Woodland maintenance and upkeep of non-specific areas like gravel drives and cleaning inflatables may also be required. You will carry out any other tasks requested by management within the scope of the role, ensuring the estate remains pristine and well cared for throughout the year.

Experience
Proven garden maintenance experience is essential for this role.

You should be reliable, motivated, and have a strong work ethic with a passion for horticulture and outdoor work. Attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are important.

Qualifications
- Spraying Course PA1/PA6 (desirable)
- Chainsaw Maintenance/Crosscutting Course (desirable)
