About the Role
Engineering Services, part of Repairs and Investment, is seeking to recruit a competent Gas Fitter to join our busy and demanding team. You will undertake a wide range of installation, breakdown, and servicing jobs across the Borough, typically completing between 8-12 jobs per day. This role requires professionalism, efficiency, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. You will be provided with uniform and all necessary personal protective equipment. A full UK manual driving licence with no DR10/DG10 disqualifications in the last 5 years is essential as you will be required to drive a company vehicle. Knowledge of renewable energy is desirable due to our ongoing Green Energy programme. Further training will be provided as required by legislative changes.

Experience
Relevant City & Guilds qualifications and/or extensive relevant experience is essential. Experience working in a similar role with a proven track record of completing servicing and breakdown jobs efficiently is required.

You are a reliable and well-experienced tradesperson with excellent customer service skills. You are able to work on your own initiative as well as collaboratively within a team. You demonstrate enthusiasm, drive, and professionalism in your work.

Qualifications
Essential qualifications include CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1. Unvented Hot Water Storage System (HWSS) qualification is preferred but not essential. Commercial qualifications are also preferred but not required. Further training will be provided as necessary.
