About the Role
The Global EHS Manager will report to the Global Head of Facilities and Health and Safety and will be responsible for managing day-to-day Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) and facilities operations globally. You will lead and support global teams to ensure a safe and healthy working environment across retail and office locations, ensuring adherence to global statutory compliance and promoting best practice universal standards, systems, and accreditations. This role requires collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, colleagues, and supply partners to foster a one-team approach and support the implementation of global EHS and facilities strategies and projects.
Key responsibilities include managing and developing environmental management systems, reporting on global waste and utilities, supporting carbon footprint reduction initiatives, managing contractor and maintenance company centralisation, supporting UK and global security strategies, overseeing workplace strategies including refurbishments and relocations, acquisition support, tender reviews, and supplier procurement. You will also monitor health and safety compliance across regions and channels, develop and maintain a global EHS strategy, support sustainability and EHS committees, ensure completion of workplace and fire risk assessments, oversee regular inspections and safety checks, review global legislative requirements, support incident investigations and reporting, assist legal with risk registers and claims, lead health and safety training programs, liaise with Occupational Health providers, conduct global audits, create and maintain policies and procedures, and be the main point of contact for health and safety queries across retail and office teams.
Experience
- Proven experience managing multi-site safety in retail and office environments globally.
- Experience working in fast-paced, ever-changing environments.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver results through effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- History of managing and leading teams.
- Experience working and communicating across various levels and teams.
- Proven ability to remain calm under pressure.

Qualifications
- Certified in a recognised occupational safety and health body, NEBOSH minimum.
