About the Role
Morgan Stanley's Global Sustainability Office (GSO) drives the growth of sustainable investing through product development, economic analysis, thought leadership, and capacity building. Within GSO, the Global Sustainable Finance (GSF) team supports the creation of financial products and digital applications across Investment Banking, Sales & Trading, Investment Management, and Wealth Management globally. The GSF Products & Solutions team is seeking an Associate based in London to support research on sustainable finance topics and trends, develop and maintain client-facing materials, and coordinate key internal projects, workstreams, and events for business partners and clients.
Key responsibilities include supporting execution and project management of innovative sustainable finance products, solutions, tools, events, and insights in collaboration with teams across Morgan Stanley Institutional Securities Group, Wealth Management, and Investment Management. The role involves building and maintaining strong working relationships across Morgan Stanley's businesses, particularly in the EMEA region, and providing support at client meetings and events as needed.
The Associate will provide high-quality sustainable investing analysis and market insights to support client engagement, originate commercially relevant ideas, and produce content synthesizing analyses, trends, and opportunities or risks for diverse client, investor, and executive audiences. This role operates collaboratively as part of a global team across the US, Europe, MENA, and APAC, engaging with various firm functions including Legal, Risk, Compliance, Technology, Corporate Communications, and Marketing.
Experience
2-4 years of work experience, preferably within a global financial services firm.
Prior experience in sustainable finance roles is advantageous but not essential.
Demonstrated ability to conduct insightful research, perform quantitative analysis, and deliver impactful results.
Experience with PowerPoint, Excel, and AI tools.

Undergraduate degree, ideally in economics, finance, or sustainability-related fields.
Masters or MBA is a plus but not required.
