Our Environmental Team is recruiting early career Environmental Engineers and Specialists to join a highly skilled, multidisciplinary team working on diverse projects across the energy sector.
You will support environmental assessments and studies for projects in the UK and overseas, spanning onshore and offshore environments. Projects include traditional oil & gas, hydrogen, carbon capture and storage, offshore wind, and other emerging energy technologies. Your work will involve carbon management, energy efficiency, decarbonisation, environmental impact assessment, permitting, compliance, and environmental modelling.
As part of the Environmental Delivery Team, you will collaborate closely with other discipline teams within Genesis to provide environmental technical inputs for public and private clients. You will contribute to executing environmental studies, characterising emissions, supporting compliance reporting, participating in HAZID/ENVID reviews, running environmental models, preparing technical reports and proposals, and engaging with clients to ensure delivery to scope, schedule, and budget.
Experience
- Degree in a relevant science, engineering, or environmental subject
- Awareness of environmental legislation and environmental impact assessment process
- Ability to work effectively within a team and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent written communication skills with strong attention to detail
- Computer literate, proficient in standard MS Office software

Qualifications
- Degree qualification as stated above
- Desirable skills include experience with GIS for data analysis and report graphics
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Fortran, C, MatLab or similar
- Familiarity with sectors including oil & gas operations, onshore/offshore wind, infrastructure projects, hydrogen, carbon capture and storage
