Our Environmental Team is recruiting early career Environmental Engineers and Specialists to join a highly skilled, multidisciplinary group including engineers, marine biologists, chemists, geologists, and GIS specialists.
You will work on a wide variety of projects related to the energy sector, including traditional oil & gas and emerging areas such as hydrogen, carbon capture and storage, and offshore wind. This role offers the opportunity to support environmental assessments and studies for projects in the UK and overseas, spanning onshore and offshore environments.
Key responsibilities include executing environmental studies and assessments, supporting carbon management and decarbonisation initiatives, contributing to environmental permitting and compliance, running and interpreting environmental models, assisting in technical report and proposal preparation, and engaging with clients to ensure project requirements are met within scope, schedule, and budget.

Experience
Degree in a relevant science, engineering, or environmental subject. Awareness of environmental legislation and the environmental impact assessment process. Experience or interest in environmental assessments, modelling, and reporting is advantageous. Familiarity with GIS and software development (Python, Fortran, C, MatLab or similar) is desirable. Knowledge of sectors such as oil & gas, onshore/offshore wind, hydrogen, and carbon capture and storage is beneficial.
About you
Strong team player with excellent written communication skills and attention to detail. Well-motivated, able to work to tight deadlines, and capable of innovative thinking. Computer literate with proficiency in standard MS Office software. Flexibility for occasional travel within the UK and abroad, including client offices and offshore visits. Must have the right to work in the UK.
Qualifications
A relevant degree in science, engineering, or environmental studies is essential. No additional formal qualifications are required, but a commitment to professional development and learning is expected.
