Our Environmental Team is recruiting early career Environmental Engineers and Specialists to join a highly skilled, multidisciplinary team working on a wide range of projects related to the energy sector, including traditional oil & gas and emerging sectors such as hydrogen, carbon capture and storage, and offshore wind.
As part of the Environmental Delivery Team, you will support environmental assessments and studies for projects in the UK and overseas, spanning onshore and offshore environments. Your work will involve carbon management, energy efficiency, decarbonisation, environmental impact assessment, permitting and compliance, and environmental modelling. You will collaborate closely with other discipline teams within Genesis to provide environmental technical inputs for public and private clients.
Key responsibilities include executing environmental studies and assessments, characterising emissions and discharges, supporting reporting and compliance, contributing to HAZID/ENVID reviews, running and interpreting environmental models, preparing technical reports and proposals, and engaging with clients to ensure delivery to scope, schedule, and budget.
Experience
- Awareness of environmental legislation and environmental impact assessment process
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
- Strong team player with excellent written communication skills and attention to detail
- Computer literate with proficiency in standard MS Office software

Qualifications
- Degree in a relevant science, engineering, or environmental subject
Desirable Skills
- Experience using GIS for data analysis and report graphics
- Knowledge of software development languages such as Python, Fortran, C, MatLab or similar
- Familiarity with sectors including oil & gas operations, onshore/offshore wind, infrastructure projects, hydrogen, and carbon capture and storage
