About the Role
Join Stantec's 2027 Graduate Programme as a Graduate Geo-Environmental / Geo-Technical Engineer, working within our multidisciplinary Environmental Services team. You will engage in a diverse range of projects across key sectors including renewables, defence, commercial, and residential developments. The role offers an excellent balance between hands-on, on-site activities and office-based consultancy work.

Your responsibilities will include designing, scoping, and managing site investigations with on-site supervision, soil and rock logging, and environmental sampling. You will analyse field data and author comprehensive factual and interpretative reports, conduct qualitative and quantitative geo-environmental and geotechnical risk assessments to support site development and remediation, and provide expert geo advice throughout design, planning, and construction phases on multidisciplinary schemes.

Working closely with integrated project teams and other disciplines such as Civils, Structural, Transport, Air Quality, Acoustics, and Flood Risk, you will help clients navigate complex ground conditions and environmental requirements. Qualifications
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree accredited by a relevant professional body in one of the following disciplines: Geology, Engineering Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Earth Sciences, or Environmental Science. Relevant professional bodies include The Geological Society, Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE), Institute of Environmental Sciences (IES), or Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management (CIWEM).
