About the Role
We are looking for a Graduate to join our Sustainability team in either our Bath or London office. With a world-class reputation, our creativity and people have delivered positive change to clients, the environment, and communities alike. Sustainability consultancy covers a broad range of areas including embodied carbon analysis, sustainability assessments (BREEAM, LEED, Living Building Challenge, etc.), post occupancy evaluation, social value, health & wellbeing, and circular economy. The team works across various scales and project types from policy, strategy, and masterplanning through to building design, soft landings, monitoring, and management.
Our team is responsible for some of the UK's highest-rated sustainable buildings, such as Apple HQ at Battersea Power Station and London College of Fashion, Stratford, both recently achieving BREEAM Outstanding. We collaborate extensively with C40 Cities to generate original research, thought leadership, tools, and methodologies, piloting these with cities worldwide. Our team led a major two-year technical assistance programme to 25 global cities assessing air quality, health, and economic benefits of climate action. We also led a C40 study into the multiple benefits of deep retrofit, including job creation and reduced energy poverty, asthma, and cold mortality.
As a Graduate Sustainability Consultant, you will advise clients, engineers, architects, and urban planners on sustainable measures for buildings, masterplans, and strategic consultancy projects. You will undertake research to develop design solutions related to climate change resilience, health, wellbeing and productivity, embodied carbon strategies to reduce whole-life impacts, and circular economy strategies within building design. You will also undertake assessments to help clients achieve sustainable certifications and prepare reports on sustainability, whole life carbon, and circular economy to accompany planning applications.
This role is for an Autumn 2026 start and offers the opportunity to be part of an exciting network of engineers and consultants supporting your career development. We provide a Graduate Connect learning programme targeting specific learning and supporting your journey to chartership, alongside a Young Employee's Forum for knowledge sharing, learning, and socialising. We value a safe and inclusive environment with flexible working hours and hybrid working options, welcoming applications from all backgrounds and walks of life.
