About the Role
We are seeking a team player who enjoys working both in the office and outdoors and is committed to ensuring Harpenden’s green spaces and public areas are maintained to the highest standard. The future for Harpenden Town Council is very exciting, with opportunities anticipated for the acquisition of additional open spaces and public realm assets. We want the successful applicant to share our enthusiasm and passion to help develop and shape Harpenden’s environment and public realm for the future.
Our Public Realm and Environment team thrives on challenges, taking care of our green spaces and vibrant town centre, which brings great satisfaction as their work makes a significant difference to the community. If you take pride in your work and enjoy applying your knowledge of countryside management, habitats, and species, this role offers a rewarding opportunity.
You should be keen to engage with the local community and volunteers, sharing your enthusiasm and encouraging people to spend time outdoors. Experience
Experience in countryside management, habitat and species management, or related environmental roles is highly desirable.
