About the Role
Join the ‘Greatest Story in Hospitality’ by becoming one of our Greenkeepers within the Estates team based at the Celtic Manor Resort. Working across our championship golf courses, you will help ensure that all playing surfaces and surrounding areas are maintained to the highest possible standard. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified and motivated Greenkeeper to develop their skills within a world-class golf destination.
Implementing our ‘Yes, We Can’ philosophy, you will maintain greens, tees, bunkers, approaches and rough areas to exceptional standards. You will operate and maintain specialist grounds maintenance equipment safely and effectively, assist in the delivery of golf course maintenance and development programmes, and support the operational needs of the golf team and Estates Department. Additionally, you will ensure all equipment, stock and working areas are maintained, clean and compliant with safety standards. Attendance at team briefings, contributing to departmental objectives and promptly reporting any faults, hazards or customer concerns are also key responsibilities.

Experience
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Greenkeeping (or equivalent). Previous greenkeeping or golf course maintenance experience is required.
About you
A self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. A commitment to high standards of course presentation and safety is essential. Spraying and chainsaw certificates are desirable but not essential. Must be aged 18 or over due to the operation of machinery and exposure to chemicals.
Qualifications
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Greenkeeping (or equivalent) is required. Additional certificates such as spraying and chainsaw operation are advantageous but not mandatory.
