About the Role
As Grid Solutions Manager, you will be responsible for managing the complex grid infrastructure dynamics of utility-scale PV power plants and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects. Acting as a key internal stakeholder at ib vogt, you will ensure seamless development, execution, energization, and handover of grid infrastructure projects including cables, transmission lines, substations, grid connection bays, and auxiliary structures outside the PV park fence.
You will participate in worldwide energy projects from early phase definitions through to operation, taking ownership of engineering and design of grid connections. Your role includes supporting project development with technical expertise, qualifying and managing external engineering consultants, specifying and coordinating technical tender aspects, and coordinating subcontractors during design and execution in cooperation with on-site teams.
Additional responsibilities include aggregating and managing documentation for management, clients, lenders, and advisers, meeting with utilities and stakeholders globally for technical discussions, coordinating with third-party technical advisors, and ensuring grid code compliance (including Specification, Engineering, and RfG requirements). You will also support project development tasks such as grid feasibility studies, grid connection agreements, grid access evaluation, and technical support during due diligence processes.
This role offers the opportunity to work in a truly international environment with a dynamic, motivated team and challenging tasks that promote professional growth and development. ib vogt is committed to fostering diversity, inclusion, and respect in the workplace and encourages applicants who are passionate about making an impact in the renewable energy sector.

Certifications in AutoCAD, PowerFactory, PSS/E, or PMI are advantageous.
Proficiency in English is mandatory.
