About the Role
Join QinetiQ as a Grounds Maintenance Operative and be part of a team delivering high-quality grounds operations within UK Defence Operations. Based at the Shoeburyness site, you will support the Estates Delivery team by carrying out planned and requested grounds maintenance activities to ensure the site’s appearance and safety standards are maintained. Your day-to-day duties will include strimming, hedge cutting, ride-on grass cutting, and general site maintenance. You will also deliver specialist grounds services, including managing pest and tree hazards, and support site preparations to enable safe access and use of premises. You will be responsible for prioritising your workload to meet business needs and ensuring all maintenance standards and quality of work are upheld. Experience
- Delivering a range of grounds maintenance services including general upkeep and specialist tasks
- Ability to prioritise workloads effectively to meet operational and business needs
- Applying health, safety and environmental procedures in daily work
- Overseeing and monitoring delivery of allocated tasks

Qualifications
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
- General grounds maintenance qualifications (desirable)
