About the Role
The Head of Sustainability Management is a senior leadership role responsible for the day-to-day management and implementation of Hogan Lovells' global sustainability initiatives delivery. Reporting to the Global Head of Sustainability, Policy and Strategy, you will lead the sustainability programme, managing a team focused on emissions accounting and mitigation, scenario analysis and transition planning, audit and assurance activities, sustainability data governance, supplier engagement, office transition planning, and stakeholder engagement.

As the operational lead for the sustainability function, you will prioritise workstreams effectively, deploy resources efficiently, proactively manage risks and issues, and ensure high-quality delivery of outputs. You will collaborate closely with the Head of ESG Reporting and Strategic Projects to ensure smooth delivery of the firm’s sustainability work.

Key responsibilities include managing daily sustainability operations, workload allocation, capacity planning, establishing annual work plans and delivery schedules, acting as the primary escalation point for delivery issues, fostering a collaborative team culture, monitoring progress against objectives, overseeing climate-related data collection and CDP reporting, managing sustainability audit and assurance programmes, supporting executive-level sustainability communications, building strong cross-departmental relationships, coordinating with external advisers, and leading and developing the sustainability team to promote operational excellence and professional growth.

Experience
- Demonstrated depth of knowledge in sustainability within a professional services environment.
