About the Role
AB Dynamics is a global leader in automotive test systems, providing advanced solutions such as driving robots, ADAS soft crash targets, and driving simulators to major vehicle manufacturers and Tier 1 suppliers worldwide. Our technology supports a wide range of applications including autonomous vehicle development.

The Group Health, Safety and Environmental team is responsible for managing and continuously improving HSE performance across the company and its global partners. This hands-on role supports the Group Health, Safety and Environment Manager in achieving HSE objectives and ensuring compliance with QHSE Management Systems, Policies, and Procedures by all employees, contractors, and visitors.

Key responsibilities include conducting internal audits according to the QHSE audit program and ensuring timely closure of corrective actions; promoting and developing a strong health and safety culture to raise employee awareness; delivering HSE training sessions and toolbox talks; assisting in the development and review of workplace Risk and COSHH Assessments; recording and investigating workplace incidents, injuries, and near misses; analysing HSE data to identify trends and drive improvements; communicating safety alerts and HSE information to staff; supporting quarterly HSE Committee Meetings; reviewing and updating management system documentation and registers; assisting with external audit preparations; and supporting the collection and monitoring of energy and carbon data for the annual report and net zero program.

Experience
Experience in managing health, safety, and environmental functions within a corporate or manufacturing environment is desirable. Proven ability to conduct audits and investigations effectively.

Qualifications
- Essential: NEBOSH General Certificate
- Knowledge of current health and safety legislation and its practical application
- Competent in general IT software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email
- Knowledge of environmental and sustainability issues
- Understanding of QHSE Management Systems
- Valid Driving Licence holder

- Desirable: Internal Auditor for ISO 14001, 45001 & 9001
- Tech IOSH status or higher, committed to personal and professional development
- Technical background, ideally in manufacturing
- Environmental qualification such as IEMA Foundation Certificate
