About the Role
The HPC Jobs Service supports local people into exciting, long-term careers across our project. Framatome Ltd, a global leader in nuclear energy and a main contractor for the construction of Hinkley Point C nuclear power plant, is seeking a Health, Safety & Environmental Advisor to join their team. Reporting to the Project Health Safety and Environmental Manager, you will be responsible for monitoring and improving health, safety, and environmental performance on site. Your duties will include producing reports, supporting site supervision and subcontractors on occupational health, safety and environmental matters, coordinating with the Principal Contractor, monitoring compliance with site safety rules and UK legislation, reviewing method statements and risk assessments, attending daily HSE meetings and team briefs, conducting accident and near miss investigations, and carrying out workplace inspections. Experience
A minimum of 5 to 10 years working as an Occupational Health Safety Advisor

About you
Results driven and pragmatic with strong communication skills. Native-level English proficiency. Capable of finding practical solutions to ensure safe working practices and behaviours. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Comprehensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.

Qualifications
NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health
