Location
Corby, NN17 3AS, with travel to other operation centres as required.

Hours
Monday to Friday with 3 to 4 overnights per week; overnight allowance payment applies.

Salary
£52,516 per annum including a £3,000 Roamer allowance. Additional overnight allowance of £45 per night (£30 tax free).

About the Role
We are recruiting a Roamer/Tramper HGV Driver to join our team at Copart, the global leader in online vehicle remarketing and recycling. You will collect and deliver predominantly accident damaged vehicles of various sizes and conditions using our salvage transporters. The role is physically demanding and requires adherence to strict safety and operational standards. You will perform internal and external vehicle and equipment checks, report defects, photograph damage, and ensure compliance with legal and company requirements. Working on behalf of insurance and automotive customers, you will support multiple operation centres, providing holiday cover and managing increased workloads. This role demands professionalism, attention to detail, and safe operation of vehicles and loading equipment in line with health and safety policies.

Experience
- Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 Licence
- Current CPC qualification
- Experience driving in both rural and urban environments
- Familiarity with EC Drivers Hours and Working Time regulations and tachograph use
- Confident use of handheld devices and basic IT applications
- Car transportation or recovery experience is advantageous but not essential
