About the Role
At EMCOR UK, we revolutionise facilities management by combining our engineering heritage and innovation capability. We prioritise people in everything we do, collaborating closely with our customers to understand all their needs, from the big picture to day-to-day operations. Our purpose is to "create a better world at work". Using our unique insight platform, "One Data World," we harness data-driven intelligence to make informed decisions, adapting our services to meet our customers' evolving requirements. This allows us to cultivate an enhanced workplace experience for their teams whilst optimising efficiency, meticulously managing every asset, and minimising their impact on the planet. All supported by our commitment to safety, compliance, and assurance.
As an HSE Advisor, you will encourage and support the creation of a functional BTFL culture that embraces health, safety, environment, and wellbeing principles and goals. You will provide professional safety and risk support to the account, advising management, clients, employees, supply chain partners, and volunteers on all HSE and wellbeing matters. Your responsibilities include managing and reporting HSE incidents, ensuring timely investigations and corrective actions, anticipating legislative changes, and supporting HSE training and assurance activities.
You will engage collaboratively with the SQR team and support the development and implementation of culture groups and balanced scorecards. You will assist in compliance with statutory requirements, review policies and risk assessments, and escalate unresolved hazards. Supporting sustainable goals, attending audits, and maintaining effective communication across teams and stakeholders will also be key aspects of your role.
Additionally, you will support occupational health programmes, manage accreditations submissions, and provide CDM and project safety advice. Reporting to the HSE Manager or Head of HSW, you will hold functional authority for site-based HSE and wellbeing matters and work closely with supply chain functions to oversee safety information and compliance.
EMCOR UK is committed to building a diverse and inclusive workforce where every voice is heard and every individual is championed. Join us in building a better world at work.
