About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Environmental focused Senior Engineer, HSE to join our team based in Basingstoke, UK. This role involves the production of key project Environmental deliverables including Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA), Environmental Assessments (EA), Environmental, Social, Health Impact Assessments (ESHIA), HSE Plans, HSE Philosophy documents, and Scopes of Work for third parties such as Environmental Baseline Studies (EBS) and EIAs. You will organise and attend safety workshops including ENVID and SIMOPS, participate in ENVID meetings, and liaise closely with clients and external stakeholders to ensure compliance and high standards of environmental and safety management throughout project lifecycles.
Experience
- Demonstrable experience working on energy projects, including oil and gas design projects
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively to deliver high quality environmental and safety deliverables on schedule
- Strong knowledge of UK regulatory frameworks for both onshore and offshore environments
- Experience working to International Finance Corporation (IFC) and World Bank environmental and safety standards
- Demonstrable expertise in safety and environmental engineering
- Skilled in preparing high quality environmental engineering documentation
- Ability to critically review work produced internally and by third parties
