About Health, Safety & Environment and the Role
The Health & Safety team ensures safe working environments for all THG employees and visitors by providing on-site support, managing risks, completing audits, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental legislation. The team also maintains legal environmental compliance to protect the business from financial and reputational risks. We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Health and Safety Advisor to support day-to-day HSE activities based at our Head Office - Icon 1, with occasional travel to other THG sites as required. This role is key in promoting a strong safety culture on-site, ensuring all employees operate safely, compliantly, and in an environmentally responsible manner.
You will work closely with operational senior leadership and site teams to carry out risk assessments, deliver training, conduct inspections, and provide practical HSE advice on the ground. Key responsibilities include supporting implementation of site-specific HSE policies and procedures, conducting workplace inspections and audits, assisting with risk assessments and permit-to-work processes, investigating incidents and near-misses, delivering inductions and toolbox talks, maintaining accurate HSE records, monitoring PPE compliance, supporting HSE Manager with reports, engaging employees on safety initiatives, and staying current with HSE legislation and best practices.

Qualifications
NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent HSE qualification is required.
