About the Role
As an HSE Coordinator at Safran Seats GB sites, you will coordinate Health, Safety and Environment operations to ensure compliance and promote a safe working environment. Your responsibilities will include coordinating Risk Assessments, COSHH Assessments, Safe Systems of Work, and Permits to Work. You will work closely with Human Resources, Occupational Health, and the workforce to manage the Health Surveillance Programme and conduct regular General Planned Inspections (GPIs), tracking progress and improvements. Acting as a focal point for HSE concerns, you will support continuous improvement initiatives and promote HSE awareness campaigns. You will also coordinate the Mental Health First Aid programme and volunteers, manage PPE/RPE supplies, and ensure sufficient trained personnel for Fire Marshal, First Aid, and MHFA roles. Liaising with Facilities and Site Services, you will oversee contractors and visitors to ensure compliance with relevant risk assessments and permits. Additionally, you will escalate HSE concerns through management channels and undertake other duties as requested by your manager.

Experience
- Experience in Health and Safety within a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge and proficiency in legislation, regulations, and applicable requirements
- Experience coordinating Health Surveillance and Risk Assessments
- Familiarity with Mental Health First Aid and First Aid at Work (FAW)

Qualifications
- NEBOSH General Certificate (achieved or working towards)
- IOSH Managing Safely
